History
CMC’s roots go back to 1971 when business consultant, Mack Clark, launched his sales and management consulting firm. Within a few years, he became the country’s go-to consultant for restoration companies in the US and Canada.
With ten years’ management experience, Mack brought Daren Clark on to learn and help grow his successful program, known for frequent training and on-call coaching. The company served start-up and existing restoration companies and in late 2020, the respected program (which had become a national franchise brand), was acquired by a franchise conglomerate.
Today, Clark Management Consulting is designed to serve growth-driven restoration companies in the U.S. and Canada with proven, industry-specific expertise. Daren welcomes independent firms as well as franchisees of all brands that seek better systems and support.
Known for tough honesty, humor, and a behavioral approach to developing executives and key managers, hundreds of companies through the years (big and small) give credit to the Clark philosophy of business. Daren worked as a restoration technician and auto detailer while in college. Upon graduating, he spent twenty years with the County of San Diego, ten of those in management. Daren earned a master’s degree in Administration, further formalizing his ability to organize, manage and lead. He became a management consultant in 2012, later becoming Vice President for a national property restoration franchise brand. He is a industry related published author and has been a guest speaker at The Experience Expo. As founder of Clark Management Consulting, Daren is focused on supporting clients that seek organization, systematic management and growth.
